At the entrance and throughout the path you can find sanitary gel dispenser, it is mandatory to use them before touching the interactive installations and the touch screens in the exhibitions.

The Natural Sciences Museum of Bergamo is in Piazza della Cittadella, 10.
On the A4 highway take the “Bergamo” exit, then follow directions towards “Città Alta” and “Largo Colle Aperto”. The museum is in Piazza Cittadella, which is closed to traffic. Paid parking is available along the walls and in the near vicinity. On Holidays and Sunday afternoons access to Città Alta is limited to authorized vehicles.
“Bergamo” Train stop, from the station take the “1A” bus for Colle Aperto/Università, the ticket is acquirable at the station. The museum is reachable also with the funicular.
Visitors with reduced mobility can enter the museum through the entrance in Piazza CIttadella 8 (next to the Carabinieri Station). The expositive path is accessible entirely both on the first floor and the higher floors sections. To use the elevators and stair lift with pedal throughout the path it’s necessary to speak to personnel. In the main areas of exhibition there are tactile stations with captions in Braille.
At the museum entrance lockers are available for any personal belongings.
Other than the options reserved for schools it is possible to request tours by contacting the museum’s educational services.
The QR codes in the exhibition halls give you the possibility to access the Audio Guides relative to the specific exhibit.
Small sized animals are allowed in the museum as long as they’re held or inside their appropriate shelter, with the exception of support guide-dogs for people with disabilities.
Along the exhibition path toilets and a changing table for babies’ diapers change are available.
There are vending machines in the museum’s refreshment area. It is not possible to eat a sacked lunch inside the museum, but in the immediate vicinity, on the Venetian Walls or in the La Crotta Park, there are vast spaces available. A2A water dispenser available.
Photos and recordings are permitted inside the museum. It’s necessary to get authorization from the head office to take professional pictures and videos.
In the refreshments room we have set up a UNICEF Baby pit-stop. Inspired by the homonymous action of La Leche League, this is a space where mothers can feel comfortable breastfeeding their child.
At the museum’s entrance it’s possible to buy the museum’s publications, postcards and gadgets.
